Welcome to the website of Yoshikawa lab
The research target of our laboratory is spatio-temporal self-organization generally in nature, including living systems.
We have the strategy to explore the nature from both experimental and theoretical & numerical sides. As for the theoretical side, to develop the basis of non-linear science and non-equilibrium statistical thermodynamics is the important issue in our research activity. On the other hand, we are also performing various kinds of experiments: phase-transition of giant DNA, construction of model cellular system, self-propelled objects, field computation on excitable field, nonlinear travelling wave, etc.
We hope that you will find scientific significance and interest in these studies.
